Allow patients to track their waiting time at the doctor’s office in real time from their mobile device.

CONTEXTE

Waiting at the doctor’s office is often long and unpredictable. It creates stress and disrupts an already busy day, sometimes because of a simple delay that could have been anticipated.

ENJEU

The first friction identified: patients’ reluctance to be “tracked.” Doc’Ô+ addresses this through a crowdsourcing model, where delay information emerges from user activity rather than requiring manual input from the medical practice.

Approche

How do you make waiting feel less stressful when you can’t make it shorter?

Résultat

I started by looking beyond the waiting time itself to understand the uncertainty surrounding it. Through user research and journey analysis, I explored the frictions patients face before and during a medical appointment. One key insight led to a crowdsourced approach: rather than relying on medical practices to manually report delays, the information could emerge from patient activity.
